It's an in-app currency similar in design to Roblox's Robux or Fortnite's V-Bucks which is issued and redeemed by a regulated money transmitter (Tilia Pay) who follows anti-money laundering regulations and handle tax reporting. To keep things simple for our customers, the price of 1 Stim-Buck is always equal to 1 US Dollar.
Stim-Bucks can be easily purchased with a credit card and Stim-Bucks earned by creators can be converted to your local currency & withdrawn off of the platform via Paypal using Tilia Pay which makes it easier for creators to get paid.
Stim-Bucks is issued & redeemed by the licensed & regulated money transmitter Tilia Pay (again, it’s not crypto).
Currencies can be purchased, converted, and withdrawn in the Stim Wallet. Due to regulations, currency conversions & withdrawals require KYC (identity verification) and may not yet be available in all countries.
