We hope that gamers will use the Stim Cloud PC to create games, and install and play games they purchased on other storefronts such as Steam. Someday we hope gamers will discover new games to try and play instantly on Stim Social.
While the Stim Cloud PC is a full windows desktop where you can install any program or game you already own, Stim Social is a platform where you will be able to swipe between playable previews of games (streamed from the cloud) without needing to navigate a windows environment or download/install any games.
Stim Social is designed to be similar to Tik Tok, but for quickly trying different games, and exploring various Indi Unreal Engine 5 worlds and experiences as opposed to Tik Tok which is just a platform for watching videos.
As a side note, we also hope that game developers will someday use the Stim Cloud PC to create games and experiences to be shared on Stim Social. But we also fully expect people to use it to play games and run programs in the cloud as well.
Stim Social is our long-term plan/vision which will transform Stim into more of a platform. Levering Cloud Gaming for quickly discovering and trying new games and experiences. We will however, always support and evolve the Cloud PC as a standalone service.
In a world where more and more people are making games (due in part to Unreal Engine and Generative Ai), we feel there is a need for a platform to quickly discover recommended games and try them out. Instead of just browsing trending games, and what is on sale on Steam.
